UK MEDICAL CANNABIS IS AND HAS BEEN AVAILABLE LEGALLY IN THE UK SINCE 1st NOVEMBER 2018.
Cannimeds main aims are to provide factual, evidence based information and education on medical cannabis and its applications.

- Providing Patients with information, support and advocacy, working towards helping to prevent discrimination and stigma.
- Ensuring Professionals are aware of the changes in the legislation since 2018, allowing people to be prescribed medical cannabis by a specialist consultant. Consequently meaning those who are prescribed medical cannabis are now protected by law, giving them rights to use their medication.
- Making Police aware of the changes in the law and what that now means for them in the course of duty, providing greater understanding of the legal obligations of the medical cannabis patients, methods of consumption, driving legislation and patient rights in custody on arrest after failed roadside swob.
